all that shapes our shared future.
We will not shut our eyes
or our hearts.
We are both brilliant and ragged,
soft edges
and bleeding hopes,
fierce in both our longing
and our determination
to do what we can
with the time we have left.
Breathing and being,
hoping and healing,
learning and feeling,
trusting and seeing,
these are our prayers
together.
