We may be restless and unsettled,
pushed to carry on,
to choose wisely,
to do much.
Perhaps we pause
to look to the landscape
for guidance.
It is gray and shrouded
and calls for silence and retreat,
not pushing or proving.
May we re-align our bodies
and our minds
with what our souls already know:
We are creatures of a wild earth.
We can practice what she teaches
and listen to what she knows.
