Poem: A Reminder for a New Year

A reminder today
to let it be simple and sacred,
deep breaths and open heart,
plenty of laughter and time for connection,
tea and tenderness
and skywatching.
Set down what you carry,
release your worry and your strain.
Come home to your own center.
The pause, the practice.
The surrender, the prayer.
The breath, the offering.
The silence, the message.
The heartbeat, the answer.
Your own self, a temple
of holy hereness
and sacred listening.
Let life carry you.
