It is now that we draw close
to the crone of winter,
to her warm hearth
and nourishing cauldron.
We are invited to enjoy
tea and touch and tenderness.
We are invited to remember
that our lives belong to us,
the choice-makers
and joy-birthers.
We are sovereign
in our bodies
and whole within our souls.
We can create
and live lives we love.
