January Ritual: Incubation and Pausing

“When religious ideologies and their associated spiritual practices begin to take us away from our lives instead of connecting us to the center of ourselves, we need to be willing to let them go. To not be in a hurry to replace them. Instead, we can shift our focus back to the ordinary and bless it with the gift of our full attention. Then watch in awe as it brims with holy light.”
—Mirabai Starr (Wild Mercy)

We are here in a liminal space between the Winter Solstice and Imbolc. We may be feeling the light of renewal and the sparks of new ideas, or the urge to continue to hibernate in our caves, our silent spaces in which dreams can incubate.

I’ve been spending some time lately reviewing my older audios and resources to see how I might like to re-use them or repurpose them this year and I wanted to share a link to our past January group ritual (and Moonboat/journey-themed card layout) with you today:

Stay spacious.
Keep an open place
in your heart and in your life.

Center your energy
in the work
you wish to do
and allow it to carry you
with love and joy.

Many blessings to you all!

Molly 🙂
