I want to live
sunlight and shadow
move to center.
You may wish to place one hand on your heart, one hand on your belly and hum gently to center yourself in this time and in space. Call yourself in, feeling yourself present in your body, on this earth, breathing in and out, in and out.
Our first ritual recording of September is available here.
The free printable affirmation cards referenced in the audio are available in two parts:
- The first part is in this spring issue of the CSC Journal.
- The second half of the set is available in this issue.
From Womanrunes this week, we received the Seed. This is a rune of waiting and ripening. As we emerge from our Cauldron Month, this is a perfect rune to consider. What did you find in the cauldron? What tender seed are you nourishing? What is getting ready to grow for you? To push up its first tender shoots of exploration and discovery?
“Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer’s day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time.”
Have you been able to rest recently?
Confession time: sometimes I feel like I’ve actually forgotten how to rest. This weekend, however, I laid on the deck waiting for the shadow from the waning sunlight to hit the exact center point of the mandala I was setting up and it was really blissful–just waiting for a shadow to lengthen, nothing else to do.
Affirmation for the week: I take time to nourish my dreams and to plant the seeds of my heart’s desires.
I offer you a blessing a blessing of restoration. Of hope. Of balance. Of peace. Of natural equilibrium. Of wholeness. Of love.
Goddess guide me
Peace fill me
Life weave me.
And now, the rattle passes to you…
Are you able to rest? What seed dream are your nourishing? What have you found in your Cauldron?
