About your Guide:
Molly has been “gathering the women” to circle, sing, celebrate, and share since 2008. She plans and facilitates women’s circles, seasonal retreats and rituals, mother-daughter circles, family ceremonies, and red tent circles in rural Missouri. She is an ordained priestess who holds MSW and M.Div degrees and recently finished her dissertation about contemporary priestessing in the U.S. Molly’s roots are in birth work and in domestic violence activism. She has worked with groups of women since 1996 and teaches college courses in group dynamics and human services.
Molly is the author of Womanrunes, Earthprayer, and The Red Tent Resource Kit, as well as three social service oriented booklets and a miscarriage memoir. She writes about thealogy, nature, practical priestessing, and the goddess at both Brigid’s Grove and her Woodspriestess blog. Molly and her husband Mark co-create original birth art, goddess sculptures, ceremony kits, and pendants at Brigid’s Grove.
Might I ask if the Facebook group is an absolute requirement for the course. I do not have an account nor do I ever want on. I am perfectly content working on my own, but it may be that Facebook is required for some things. Thanks much!
A Facebook account is not required at all! All of the lessons, prompts, and journal pages will be delivered directly to your own email address. The Facebook group is an additional bonus for those who like to interact that way. There is also an optional Instagram component for people who enjoy that medium. 🙂

I’m not sure which class I should take. The immersion or practicum? Can you offer any insight?
The Immersion is meant to be a more personal journey of discovery and insight and the Practicum is meant for professional use. Does that help at all? I originally designed the Immersion to be a lead-in/warm up to the Practicum, but each stands alone.

Hi Molly, Is the only difference between the $72 and the $50 Womanrunes Immersion the Womanrunes book and card set? Curious if the bonus tree pendant gift is included in the $50?
The only difference between them is the book and cards. I actually sent out the tree pendants with each book order in December, so that if people decided to sign up for the course after that, they wouldn’t feel like they had missed anything!

I am thinking about registering for the Immersion in June, and I am currently looking at purchasing the Womanrunes Workbook. Are the pages in the workbook the same pages referred to in the description of the Immersion course? (printable journal pages, ritual outlines). I didn’t know if I should just wait until I register for the Immersion instead of buying the workbook now. Thank you in advance for the info. 🙂

Yes, the workbook is a bound collection of the journal pages from the immersion course. The Immersion course includes additional prompts and experiences as well, but the Workbook was actually created by the request of people who had been through the Immersion and wanted an affordable bound copy of the pages from the course. 🙂
